... Jerusalem ... 22 Just as the new earth and the new heavens will endure by my power, so your descendants and your name will endure ... Isaiah 66 (GNT), 18 ... Jerusalem will be rebuilt, and its PALACE restored. Jeremiah 30:18 (GNT)

Taken, raptured?

The unveiling of the coming of Yeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) is an on going process which we are also part of. But where are we in this process now today, this year? The book of Revelation alongside other biblical books of prophecy speaks of natural events and disasters in the end of times, in human history as we know it today. But, the faithful will be "taken"?

12 I watched as he opened the sixth seal. There was a great earthquake. The sun turned black like sackcloth made of goat hair, the whole moon turned blood red, 13 and the stars in the sky fell to earth, as figs drop from a fig tree when shaken by a strong wind. 14 The heavens receded like a scroll being rolled up, and every mountain and island was removed from its place.
15 Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains. 16 They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!
Revelation 6:12-16 (New International Version)

This is the first major worldwide natural event set to happen in our time. God Almighty makes it clear that this event is not a punishment to people. The passage doesn't mention that people will die. Unlike the event described in Revelation 8:8 when the second angel sounds the trumpet after the opening of the seventh seal (compare with Jeremiah 51:25). When this earthquake together with the signs in heaven happens, I believe soon, it won't be a punishment for this passage doesn't speak of people being punished nor getting killed - at the time of Joshua, the natural events that happened didn't directly kill anyone, those who died was because of the ongoing war at that time, Joshua 10. Neither was any one punished during the natural events that happened on the day Jeshua Messiah (Jesus Christ) died, Matthew 27:45-51 - but it will be a wake up call to all, especially to the believers that remain faithful to God the Father the Almighty Creator of heaven and earth. For when this event happens, we will all know at which point in time of human history we are living in accordance to biblical scripture.

2 This is what the LORD says: “Do  n o t  learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the heavens, though the nations are terrified by them.
Jeremiah 10:2

As for Yeshua Messiah's coming, there is much expectation by some believers of being taken away early up in heaven to avoid the hardships that lies up ahead, which are revealed in biblical prophecy. But the Almighty Father has never done such a thing in the past.
The biblical blueprint of the Almighty Father's actions concerning his people in times of hardship, speak of the contrary. In his wisdom and by his might he  h i d e s  and  p r o t e c t s  people on the planet. Remember Noah and his family in the ark, Genesis chapters 6 to 9. Another example is the Israelites in their homes in Egypt under Pharaoh's nose at the time of the last plague, Exodus 12:12-13. Even the book of Revelation speaks of a woman that will be hidden by the Almighty in the desert (like he did with others before her), Revelation chapter 12. So, biblical scripture is consistent about the way the Almighty Father acts from the book of Genesis to Revelation.

It's fine to have expectations of Yeshua Messiah's coming, but it is important for them to be
r o o t e d  in biblical scripture. Why? So we can prepare ourselves for the things to come and be able to make the right decisions, in accordance to the Father's will for our personal life, in spite of the hardships we have to go through during this period of time we live in. What will this lead to?

10 Many will be p u r i f i e d, made spotless and refined, but the wicked will continue to be wicked. None of the wicked will understand, but those who are wise will understand.
Daniel 12:10

10 Since you have kept my command to e n d u r e   p a t i e n t l y, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.
Revelation 3:10

The Almighty Father is the only one with all the knowledge and wisdom to steer human history into his right direction in spite of everything else.

God bless you,
