"Rapture": to Heaven? Part 1 of 4 - The 6th seal: signs

The 6th seal: signs

Revelation 6:12-15 (NKJV) tells us:
12 I looked when He opened the sixth seal, and behold, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became like blood. 13 And the stars of heaven fell to the earth, as a fig tree drops its late figs when it is shaken by a mighty wind.
14 Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place.

We should realize that God will give his signs at his given time. So we should not gaze blindly on the information about the moon and the sun eclipses provided by astronomers (whom generally speaking does good work). God doesn't have to act in accordance to those and people can make mistakes or give us for whatever reasons disinformation. How can the sky recede like this, etcetera? The passage does speak of what happens on the earth, could this be the reason we will perceive the sky as described in this passage? Could the events written in Joshua 10 also give us an idea of this event?
12 ... Joshua said to the LORD in the presence of Israel:
“Sun, stand still over Gibeon,
and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.”
13 So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, ... as it is written in the Book of Jashar.
The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.
What actually stopped that day? The Almighty Father answered Joshua's prayer, by doing something to the earth and the moon, so all perceived the sun and moon stopped. Whatever he did, it didn't cause casualties either. Except those because of the war that was on. At the time of the flood with one family which survived, the earth itself was also changed, that event seems to had something to do with the position of the earth changing alongside its own axis. It is possible this will happen again, but now not caused by a flood, but by this major earthquake mentioned at the opening of this seal.

Revelation 6:16-17 says:
15 And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, 16 and said to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 17 For the great day of His wrath has come, and who is able to stand?”
Notice in verse 15 it is first all the kings, the great et cetera that are hiding and later slaves and free man. Is this order just a coincidence? This passage doesn't mention casualties when this event occurs, only people hiding.

And why are all these people so afraid, but not in prayer to God? Instead they are hiding from him, not even from the event itself. Why is this? Are those who are faithful to God and to the Lamb, Yeshua Messiah even aware of the fact that God Almighty is in charge of these events? Do day observe his feasts that he gave to Israel so they can be on alert for events to come? Where are the prayers of the ones who are faithful to God? Maybe this event will be a wake up call to all. For Revelation 8:1-5 speak of the opening of the 7th seal, and it does tell us about the prayers of the faithful. By the way the events described when opening the 6th seal also precedes the 144,000 servants of God, all of the tribes of Israel (except Ephraim but Joseph is mentioned), receiving the seal of God Almighty on their forehead, Revelation 7:1-8.

The restoration of the state of Israel, that is the Fig tree, is also a sign, Matthew 24: 32-33
32 “Now learn this parable from the  f i g  t r e e: When its branch has already become tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. ...
Restoration, which is still going on, makes clear that we are near the end times as prophesied by God's prophets in biblical scripture.

Revelation 8:1 is intriguing:
1 When He opened the seventh seal, there was  s i l e n c e  in  h e a v e n  for about half an hour.
I wonder, what catches the attention of God, the Lamb and all the heavenly beings that it's so silent in heaven for half an hour? Father knows.

Amazing, how so many people believe Yeshua will be coming any day now while the 6th seal, which tells us about a world wide event that will be witnessed by all peoples, haven't even been opened yet. Let alone that the first of the 7 trumpets (shofars) have been blown.
But then, there are some who truly believe that the "rapture" as described earlier can happen at any time even before the opening of the 6th seal. Then the faithful will be taken in the clouds with him?
