Angels: Yom Kipur, lamb to the fallen angel ...! Part 3 of 4 - The fallen

The fallen

There are more bible versions, also in other languages like the Spanish Nueva Versión Internacional and the Dutch Nederlandse Bijbel Genootschap (NBG), which speak of Azazel in this passage. Unlike the (New) King James Version that speaks of the scapegoat that will be sent into the dessert. Sent, so doesn't necessarily have to die immediately on that day, but soon after.

So there were two lambs meant for offering, one for offering immediately in the Temple and the other one would die later while sent into the desert to A z a z e l. Who is he? The fallen angel to whom God ascribed all sin and is imprisoned under the ground in the dessert. He and his associates are the origin of the occult which they started of with human beings by teaching first the women in order to get acces to them so they could have children, whom later became demons after their death. So, them teaching human beings occultism and magic started with the women! Not that women being busy with occultism can lift Genesis 3:16 while competing with men, although many women occultists believe that's the way to go to do just that. For more about Azazel and the book of 1 Enoch, you can reed: Angels: holy and fallen.

4. And again the Lord said to Raphael: 'Bind Azâzêl hand and foot, and cast him into the darkness: and make an opening in the desert, which is in Dûdâêl, and cast him therein. 5. And place upon him rough and jagged rocks, and cover him with darkness, and let him abide there for ever, and cover his face that he may not see light. 6. And on the day of the great judgment he shall be cast into the fire .... 8. And the whole earth has been corrupted through the works that were taught by Azâzêl: to him ascribe all sin.'
1 Enoch 10:4-8

This was necessary so the earth could be healed and mankind would not parish, Judges 10:1-3:
7 And heal the earth which the angels have corrupted, and  p r o c l a i m  the healing of the earth, that they may heal the plague, and that all the children of men may not perish through all the secret things that the Watchers have disclosed and have taught their sons.

The holy angels proclaimed the healing of the earth, but it is God Almighty himself who does the healing of the earth and mankind. He is in charge of this healing process for which the holy angels and man bring in their part of the work necessary. The above mentioned events toke place just before the flood as mentioned in Genesis chapters 6-9. He made sure that Noach and his family would survive the flood.

1. Then said the Most High, the Holy and Great One spake, and sent Uriel to the son of Lamech, and said to him: 2. '〈Go to Noah〉 and tell him in my name "Hide thyself!" and reveal to him the end that is approaching: that the whole earth will be destroyed, and a deluge is about to come upon the whole earth, and will destroy all that is on it. 3. And now instruct him that he may escape and his seed may be preserved for all the generations of the world.'
1 Enoch 10:1-3

But in case of a sacrifice wouldn't God provide?
