... Jerusalem ... 22 Just as the new earth and the new heavens will endure by my power, so your descendants and your name will endure ... Isaiah 66 (GNT), 18 ... Jerusalem will be rebuilt, and its PALACE restored. Jeremiah 30:18 (GNT)

Occultism: they curse, God blesses! How? Part 2 of 2

Occultism, biblical scripture warns us for this practice. In the book of Revelations there are several warnings aimed at congregations, churches against the practice of occultism. These warnings, are not meant as reproach but as important eye openers for leaders, believers to remain faithful to the Almighty God the Father.

But do leaders take the warnings seriously?

Are the leaders in faith organizations, especially church/congregation leaders awake? That is praying, fasting, reading God's word and listening to the prophets present in the congregation, church, whom are put in place by the Almighty Father himself. Aren't all the messages, warnings written in Revelation chapter 1 to 3 meant for congregations, people of faith?

Isaiah 56 (NIV) also speaks of sleeping leaders,
9 Come, all you beasts of the field, come and devour, all you beasts of the forest!
10 Israel’s watchmen are blind, they all lack knowledge; they are all mute dogs,they cannot bark;
they lie around and dream, they l o v e to sleep.
11 They are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough. They are shepherds who lack understanding; they all turn to their own way, they seek their own  g a i n.
12 “Come,” each one cries, “let me get wine! Let us drink our fill of beer! And tomorrow will be like today,
or even far better.”

What is wrong in congregations that people resort to occultism or that those who are active occultists may join in while having free access and space within the group to practice it, mostly unnoticed especially by the leaders who join them? To such extent that these people may bring in their entire occult group? Is it possible leaders themselves might take part in these practices?

14 Nevertheless, I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality. 15 Likewise, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. 16 Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth
Revelation 2:14-16 (NIV)

20 Nevertheless, I have this against you: You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. 21 I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. 22 So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. 23 I will strike her children dead. Then all the churches will know that I am he who searches hearts and minds, and I will repay each of you according to your deeds.
Revelation 2:20-23

These warnings aren't new, remember Deuteronomy 13:1-4 (NIV):
1 If a prophet, or one who foretells by dreams, appears among you and announces to you a sign or wonder, 2 and if the sign or wonder spoken of takes place, and the prophet says, “Let us follow other gods” (gods you have not known) “and let us worship them,” 3 you must not listen to the words of that prophet or dreamer. The LORD your God is testing you to find out whether you love him with all your heart and with all your soul. 4 It is the LORD your God you must follow, and him you must revere. Keep his commands and obey him; serve him and hold fast to him.

And for those who believe the occult can give them security,
... 15 You boast, “We have entered into a covenant with death, with the realm of the dead we have made an agreement. When an overwhelming scourge sweeps by, it cannot touch us, for we have made a lie our refuge and falsehood[a] our hiding place. ” 16 So this is what the Sovereign Lord says: hail will sweep away your refuge, the lie, and water will overflow your hiding place. 18 Your covenant with death will be annulled; your agreement with the realm of the dead will not stand. When the overwhelming scourge sweeps by, you will be beaten down by it. Isaiah 28:14-18 (NIV) [a: or false gods]

Those who speak false prophecies, people God didn't sent to speak on his behalf will be punished as Ezekiel 13:1-16 shows. An example of how God might do this is written in Jeremiah 28:1-17 (NIV),
... 15 Then the prophet Jeremiah said to Hananiah the prophet, “Listen, Hananiah! The Lord has not sent you, yet you have persuaded this nation to trust in lies. 16 Therefore this is what the Lord says: ‘I am about to remove you from the face of the earth. This very year you are going to die, because you have preached rebellion against the Lord.’” 17 In the seventh month of that same year, Hananiah the prophet died.

Also those who engage in the occult, magic that through lies leads to murder will not be spared as Ezekiel 13:17-23 says.
... 18 ... ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Woe to the women who sew magic charms on all their wrists and make veils of various lengths for their heads in order to ensnare people. Will you ensnare the lives of my people but preserve your own? ... 19 ... By lying to my people, who listen to lies, you have killed those who should not have died and have spared those who should not live. ... 21 I will tear off your veils and save my people from your hands, and they will no longer fall prey to your power. ... 23 therefore you will no longer see false visions or practice divination. I will save my people from your hands. And then you will know that I am the Lord.’”

Doesn't God Almighty himself bless enough, give enough warnings, provide enough for material needs, forgive people's sins etcetera? Yes, he does. What is it then? What about sleeping leaders and members?

I know your deeds; you have a reputation of being alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God.
Revelation 3:2

Isn't this very sad? But how can a congregation have a reputation of being alive, while actually they are dead? By being active with all sorts within and outside the congregation, even thinking they are doing it for God, while it actually is for all, people and public, to see. Busy at achieving own goals, being successful while using tools from occult origins to achieve this. Actually being busy with self development out of self love ending up with self deliverance and a self god image. Meanwhile in their relationship with people they don't notice those who are deep in the occult and whom are playing at being invisible, invincible by tapping into the force from the source. That is evil leading to evil intentions and evil deeds.
