... Jerusalem ... 22 Just as the new earth and the new heavens will endure by my power, so your descendants and your name will endure ... Isaiah 66 (GNT), 18 ... Jerusalem will be rebuilt, and its PALACE restored. Jeremiah 30:18 (GNT)

Déjà vu: two-state solution, no Israeli-Arab peace! - Intervention

Divine Intervention
Aren't the people of Israel very much in need of God's intervention, real wisdom in order to achieve real solutions to the problems resulting in peace within and at all borders of Israel?

... 14 Therefore once more I will astound these people with wonder upon wonder;
the wisdom of the wise will perish, the intelligence of the intelligent will vanish.”
15 Woe to those who go to great depths to hide their plans from the Lord,
who do their work in darkness and think, “Who sees us? Who will know?” ... Isaiah 29:13-24 (NIV)

Besides a massage to the false prophets promoting 'peace' - Ezekiel 13:1-16 and as an example of God's intervention Jeremiah 28 - there is one to the women performing magic that leads to m u r d e r,
... 18 ... Will you ensnare the lives of my people but preserve your own? 19 ... By lying to my people, who listen to lies, you have killed those who should not have died and have spared those who should not live.
20 “‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I am against your magic charms with which you ensnare people like birds and I will tear them from your arms; I will set free the people that you ensnare like birds. 21 I will tear off your veils and save my people from your hands, and they will no longer fall prey to your power. Then you will know that I am the Lord. Ezekiel 13:17-23 (NIV)

God's massage to all leaders, actually to all,
... 4 ... ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: When any of the Israelites set up idols in their hearts and put a wicked stumbling block before their faces and then go to a prophet, I the Lord will answer them myself in keeping with their great idolatry. ... 6 “Therefore say to the people of Israel, ‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: Repent! Turn from your idols and renounce all your detestable practices! ... Ezekiel 14:1-11 (NIV)

Having said all this, we should continue to pray for these leaders, that they may come to God's senses.
