No! No Auschwitz borders for Israel!

Temple Mount Jerusalem" ... President Obama knows very well that former Israeli Foreign Minister Abba Eban described the 1967 borders as Auschwitz borders."
[source:Common American Journal]

Words written in a letter of Yaakov Katz, member of the Knesset, to warn the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, an American lobbying group that has members with different political backgrounds that advocate pro-Israel policies to the United States' congress and executive branch. [source:Common American Journal]

Why is Yaakov Katz, and others with him so concerned?

A lack of trust in the president of the United States Barack Obama. Is there any reason for the Israeli and their supporters to mistrust President Barack Obama? His June 2009 Cairo and May 2011 Washington DC speech, suggests there are reasons for concern.

The Jewish Homeland

The Land of Israel rooted through history.

4th of June 2009
, Cairo Egypt: President Barack Obama's speech,

"America's strong bonds with Israel are well known. This bond is unbreakable.
It is based upon cultural and historical ties, and the recognition that the aspiration for a Jewish homeland is rooted in a tragic history that cannot be denied.
Around the world, the Jewish people have been persecuted for centuries, and anti-Semitism in Europe culminated in an unprecedented Holocaust."

Comments: historical facts

  • - No, it was not and is not just aspiration for a homeland of the Jewish people. Why?
Since Abraham, a Hebrew man, with his family moved out of Haran to Canaan where he was received by the King of Salem Melchizedek, there have been Hebrew peoples living in Canaan continuously. Some of them sometimes leaving because of periods of famish, and coming back after. Later Abraham's descendants, the sons of Jacob (=Israel) who's father was Isaak a son of Abraham, returned to their homeland after spending four ages in Egypt and increased in numbers to be a great people. Under the leadership of Moses and Joshua. Despite the Jewish Diaspora there have always been Jewish people living continuously in Israel and through ages they have been, with intervals, governing the land.

So, it's not aspiration, but longing for the land they belong to and have always been and remained part of. And wanting to join the Jewish people who still through ages still have been living in the land of Israel.

  • - No, the Holocaust wasn't the reason for the Jewish homeland in Palestine to be, which later became the State of Israel. Historical facts are clear:
1897 The State of Israel in Exile established at a conference in Switzerland convened by Theodor Herzl of the Zionist Organization.
1881 until 1903, the First Aliyah, modern organized Zionist wide spread immigration of Jewish people to join those already living for centuries in Palestine started. Others followed up to the Fifth Aliyah in the 1930s. At first it was mainly Orthodox Jews who immigrated to Israel but eventually others followed. To this day there are still Aliyah's of Jewish people taking place.
1917 The Balfour Declaration, issued by British Foreign Minister Arthur Balfour, which stated the British government's view that their should be a Jewish Homeland in Palestine, name given to the territory by the Romans at the time of the Roman occupation of the Kingdom of Israel, 1st and 2nd century AD.
1922 The British Mandate for Palestine is issued by the League of Nations, later the United Nations, which gave the British Empire control over the entire region of Palestine. The British divided the land of Palestin, because of their conflicting agreements to both the Jewish leaders and to the Arabs, into a territory west of the river Jordan, later to become Transjordan, and one to the west of the river Jordan, to become the Jewish Homeland. Transjordan, which later became Jordan, was given its independence in 1928, surly by then the Jewish Homeland in Palestine, which in 1948 became the State of Israel, should have already been a fact? Thousands and thousands of Jewish people were already immigrating into their Homeland joining those who have been living there for years.

All this happened long before there was a Holocaust, Shoah in Europe. So the Holocaust is not the reason, an  excuse for the State of Israel to be.

  • - No, it wasn't anti-Semitism only in Europe that caused the persecution of Jewish people in Europe. There was also ant-Semitism in the Middle-East and in the United States. Wasn't it the American and anti-Semite Henry Ford that spread the fraudulent Protocols of the Elders of Zïon, used by Hitler as an excuse to persecute the Jewish people, in the United States by printing and distributing hundreds of thousands pamphlets about the Protocols and by publishing anti-Semitic articles in his newspaper? Which he had to rectify.

    - Also, after the failed 1938 Évian Conference in France and the 1939 White Paper published by the British Government in November 1938 on the eve of Kristallnacht - the progrom on Jewish people in Nazi Germany and Austria - which countries refused the Jewish people a save haven and even refused them safe passage to their already existing Homeland? Resulting in Adolf Hitler and his Nazis Card Blanch to exterminate the Jewish people, for which world leader actually cared? With the exception of the Caribbean Dominican Republic who agreed to be a save haven to 100,000 Jews.

    - And, what was happening in Palestine itself? In 1920 Mohammad Amin al-Husayni a passionate anti-Semite, who became Grand Mufti of Jerusalem from 1921 to 1948, put in place by the British in an office created by the defeated Ottoman Empire, organized violent riots opposing the establishment of the national Jewish Homeland in Palestine. The 1936-1939 Arab Revolt in Palestine was initiated and supported by him which led to him being wanted by the British causing him to flee Palestine.
In 1941 he visited Adolf Hitler with the request that the Nazis would conquer Palestine, exterminate the about 340,000 Jews like they were doing in Europe, and reinstate him in Jerusalem as Grand Mufti. He also helped the Nazi's recruit Muslims for the elite command of the Nazi Party and as SS-officers. The Grand Mufti as a full collaborator with the Nazis, that is the Axis powers being Nazi Germany, Fascist Italy and Japan.
During the 1948 Arab-Israeli War initiated by the Arabs, this same man was the representative of the Arab Higher Committee that rejected the 1947 UN Partition Plan, which was accepted by the Jewish community. Judging by the reaction of the Arab League and the Arab Higher Committee back then, the leaders of the Arab countries approved Mohammad Amin al-Husayni's intentions. To this day it's clear nothing changed about that when observing the Arab leaders actions regarding the State of Israel.
Mohammad Amin al-Husayni's speech in 1944 on radio Berlin:
"Arabs, rise as one man and fight for your sacred rights. Kill the Jews wherever you find them. This pleases God, history, and religion. this saves your honor. God is with you." [source: Wikipedia]
So the Jewish people were not only fleeing the Holocaust, Shoah in Europe but were also fighting to defend themselves against a possible Holocaust in their homeland itself while arriving, living in Palestine and being confronted not only by the anti-Semitic opposition of the Arab peoples in Palestine whom as part of the Ottoman Empire just lost a war during WW I, but also the opposition of the British themselves who at one point sided with the Arabs and nearly went to War with the State of Israel.

Anything any different in our time? Did president Barack Obama and his team of 'professionals' actually lack knowledge on historic events? And, unlike a majority of the American people whom support Israel, where is the president's sensitivity all together for the cause of the Jewish people? What can possibly expected from a leader and his office who don't acknowledge historic facts properly?

Green line 1949

Self defense isn't a crime, its survival!

19th of May 2011, Washington DC United States: President Barack Obama's speech,

Modern day Israel, source: Wikipedia"The United States believes that negotiations should result in two states, with permanent Palestinian borders with Israel, Jordan, and Egypt, and permanent Israeli borders with Palestine.
The borders of Israel and Palestine should be based on the 1967 line with ... "
[source: The Guardian]

President Barack Obama's words concerning what is necessary for peace in the Middle East. The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's response to President Barack Obama's 1967 line border was:

"Israel wants peace, I want peace, but a peace based on illusions will crash eventually on the rocks of Middle Eastern reality" And,
"A 1967 basis for such borders would leave Israel indefensible"

Netanyahu's speech on the State of Israel and Jerusalem: CNN

So Prime Minister Netanyahu, who had talks with President Barack Obama on the 20th of May 2011 at the White House, rejects borders based on the 1949 Green Line, which was still in place at the time of the 1967 Six-Day War. That is the temporary armistice lines put in place after the 1949 Arab-Israeli War, during which Israel was attacked by armies of Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Egypt with Saudi Arabian military under its command, who opposed the establishment of the State of Israel. Yemen declared war but didn't participate with an army. The West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip were annexed by Transjordan and Egypt. Their excuse to do that was that the Arab peoples there having such a hard time at the hands of the Israeli. But in fact it was these Arab peoples who started riots and attacks against the Jewish people years before 1948, when the State of Israel was established.

Israel regained control during the 1967 Six-Day War, over the West Bank, East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip, and gained control over the Golan Hights. The 1949 Green line became an administrative border, not a permanent one. To accept the 1949 Green Line as the border of Israel, would mean losing control over three key territories, the West Bank (Judah and Samaria), Gaza Strip, Golan Hights and even East Jerusalem, and by doing so giving up Israel's defensibility and security.

Jordan

Officially the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, founded in 1921 and as a state under the British Mandate of 1922, known as the Emirate of Transjordan which became an independent sovereign state in 1946 and the country has its current name since 1949. Jordan has a large population of Arabs, but Arabs who have been living in the territory of Palestine. In fact 70% of the population of Jordan is Arab. So, why the need for one more Palestinian State?

Jordan is ruled by a minority group with a Hashemite King who is from Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Is maintaining this status quo the reason Jordan didn't allow the influx of more Arabs living in the rest of the territory of Palestine including the nowadays refugees to live in Jordan? And, the rulers in Jordan being backed by Saudi Arabia the reason that the leaders of the Palestinian Arabs don't go and demand any rights in Jordan?

Still, Jordan is in fact a Palestinian State. Wouldn't adding more territory to the Arab peoples, by the international community, have an even more destabilizing effect on the region and the rest of the world?

Self defense

Self defense requires defensible borders!

I agree with Netanyahu's words. Why? One of the reasons, is made visible by a video of the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs which gives information on Israel's security needs in relation to its borders.
Israel's Critical Security Needs for a Viable Peace
While speaking of Israel's boarders, one shouldn't forget Israel's territorial waters. Keeping these safe is also part of Israel's security needs.

Its only recently Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said: "Israeli people has an iron will to defend their country"

Can leaders learn from the past? Yes. Even at the time of Queen Esther, King Xerxes granted the Israelites who didn't have such right to defend themselves in his kingdom, the right to do so against those who plotted to exterminate them, the biblical book of Esther chapter 8.
In 1988 I went with a group through Check Point Charlie to visit East Berlin and to go to the concentration camp Sachsenhousen, where a guide told us about its history. Even when watching film and listening to the stories, it was unimaginable the evil cruelty done to the Jewish people and others who couldn't defend themselves and the deep pain people must have gone through to eventually die, be exterminated. Its a miracle anyone survived, although still living with the wound and the scares, but they became and still are part of the biggest miracle of all: the State of Israel with his undivided capital Jerusalem in the same place.

By God's grace King Xerxes and his wife Queen Esther prevented that the first progrom in Israel's history would lead to the extermination of the Jewish people from happening in their time, but the world's leaders at the time of Hitler's Nazi Germany even though they had the means and opportunity didn't. In our time our leaders should prevent it, by following Xerxes' and Esther's example.

But, one should keep in mind that the same head of state of the past is still present as the head of state of the United States' most important ally the United Kingdom, being the Windsor family. Remember their role and actions including that of their government before, during and after WW II and their still on going Nazi sympathy judging by the deeds of the members of the royal family even of those of the younger generation. Prince Harry's choice of party costume and racist remark to a fellow officer -  later however he did issue a public statement apologizing for his behavior concerning him wearing a Nazi uniform. As for the Paki-incident, it later emerged that prince Harry personally apologized to his Pakistani fellow officer! - and prince William who is second in line to the throne after their father prince Charles. Prince William chose Hitler's wedding date as his own. What could possibly be expected from the Windsor dynasty concerning Israel?

And, the current leadership of the United States, judging by their plans, contemptuous treatment of Israeli government officials and choices concerning the Middle East, anything different compared to the past? Any change in their motives and intentions? No! Same old plans, same contempt for Israel, giving away their same motives, same intentions. To come to the same actions as in the past?

The United States and the United Kingdom, united in the same endeavors. These are the two countries that will continue to hold leadership in the world as President Barack Obama made clear in his speech to the British House of Parliament in Westminster Hall on the 26th of May 2011. To insure democracy, prosperity and peace in the world, including 'peace' in the Middle East. Aren't these the same people again? Having the same mentality, motives and intentions? Hold power at all costs? Dominated in the 20th, do it again in the 21st century?

No Shoah in Israel

No Auschwitz borders, no Shoah in Israel!

Some say that history repeats itself. I say, no, people choose to take the same decisions as in the past. Why? For gain and or love of evil.

Personally I forgive all the world's leaders, heads of state in the past and present including President Barack Obama, their staff of officials, other peoples, even certain Christians and Israeli people whom opposes Israels existence and tries to destroy it by undermining its right to defend itself. May God the Almighty Father bless all of these people today. And, may he bless especially those who do support God's people, the Jewish people, their leaders and the land of Israel with its undivided capital Jerusalem.

8 ... a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety ....  a land of unwalled villages; ... a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars.
Ezekiel 38:8-11 (NIV)

But, according to biblical prophecies Israel will be attacked again. What will be the result? As God Almighty says in Ezekiel 39:8-12 (NIV):

11 “'On that day I will give Gog a burial place in Israel, in the valley of those who travel east of the Sea. ... So it will be called the Valley of Hamon Gog. [Hamon Gog: means hordes/army of Gog]

... but Jerusalem will remain intact in her place.
Zechariah 12:6 (NIV)

To defend is to protect, and remain!

God bless you,
