Empowered women overpowered men?

Who is an empowered woman? It seems to be women who are skillful and successful. Some holding a high position in society and others also enjoying fame under a spotlight. These are the women who has the power to make things happen. So ...

... “He-man” - remember him? - hasn't got the power any more? :-)

But appearances might deceive. Who is giving these women chances, the gods through occultism and or men? In both cases those they put in place better deliver. Beware, Genesis 3:16b is still in place. As for the gods=fallen angels + demons, they are detached beings whom makes those who worship them just as detached. So no real loyalty there.

Women enjoying 'the power', whether in low or high positions in society seems to be a must nowadays. But where the emancipation of women seemed to gather women and include them in a movement mend to benefit women in general, this empower trend seems to exclude women whom to some empowered women's opinion are not successful. So, empowerment doesn't necessarily equal emancipation for all women.

An example of this was the remark of one of the well known female presenters of CNN in the Piers Morgan program on CNN. She called a lady whom in her view said something dreadful about some matter: “... she must be an un-empowered woman ...”. All of a sudden the word is being used instead of in positive sense, in a negative and arrogant way to exclude certain women. By the way so much for, “we women should stand with each other”.

Doesn't all this make the word "empowerment" the most un-empowered word in the book?

Overpowered men?
The idea is or it's a consensus that women would get the job done and achieve goals just as good or even better than man. In the media, for example on CNN, people even mentions scientific research and present scientific evidence that this is the case. Forgetting that scientific results as well as the statistics based on them could be faulty or even manipulated. And there is plenty of scientific research contradicting each other.

In any case, are all women really that different from men in their actions when they are dealing with power? Do they really overpower men at their game in their own arena?
Dilma Rousseff the current President of Brazil since January 2011. The former President Luiz Inácio Lula de Salva, a very popular president of Brazil whom had two terms, played a major role in positioning her within his government so she could have this chance in the first place. She is the first woman to hold this office as the first elected female President of Brazil. In her speech she said, she is president of all Brazilians. On her way to her inauguration as president she choose only female bodyguards to escort her, while flanking her presidential car. I guess Clint Eastwood -  Agent Frank Horrigan: In the Line of Fire [watch time line: 1:05 to 1:16] - must have been on leave. :-)

Shouldn't the debate be more about prioritizing people's skills to handle matters properly accompanied with integrity and a good moral code above being a man or a woman?

And the money goes to … women!
On CNN people discuss why the money should go to women instead of men. So it's not only about women being visibly empowered by them having high positions in society, but also the idea that they would handle the money better than man.

Recently Dominique Strauss Kahn, President of the IMF - International Monetary Fund - resign because he was facing trial in the United States, and he was replaced by a woman. After taking the position, she seems to have a skeleton in her closet and now she is under investigation. There you have it. Skills, but where is the integrity and the proper moral code?

An other example of how money may be given to women but on a smaller scale is the micro credit. Of course the micro credit is given to entrepreneurs etcetera both men and women mainly in the developing countries. But if the trend is to give the money - actually debt - to the women instead of men, women would stand a better chance of receiving it. Any way, there is a problem with this type of credit. It has a very high interest rate compared to other loans. The excuse is the higher risks - which is debatable - in developing countries. Most of these people including women will be so busy trying to pay off that interest that they stand the chance of remaining in debt for a long time, because they cannot actually pay off the loan they took.

The result? People who are very vulnerable for any type of manipulation. People loosing everything to the banks mainly of the West, and some even their life. Why not a loan without interest and make sure the people pay back the loan and reuse the money for someone else?; Deuteronomy 3:20, Exodus 22:24, Leviticus 25:35-37. Or ask a very low interest rate in order to pay at least the costs of getting the money to the people?; Deuteronomy 3:21 - wasn't the recent bank crises that lead to the current world wide financial crises triggered by the mortgage crises, that is debt, in the United States? Didn't those people loose everything? There is of course more to this story, for the unpaid-debt-snow-ball is still rolling. -  No, because in the case of greed it's all about earning more money and gaining control. Countries having control over developing countries through their government's and now also through these micro debts to the public, for these countries still are the main harbours of the world's natural resources which are being more and more depleted for personal wealth and in name of so called progress and growth of economy. What a scam! Endorsed by some of the world's elite. A good reason to love this initiative?

When it comes to greed, greed doesn't favour men over women, nor visa versa. Greed is a sin and it's contagious to all, people low and up to those high in society.

Early history also give examples of women and their achievements. One of the first woman warriors mentioned in history is Deborah who was also a prophetess and a judge for forty years in ancient Israel. She was put in place by God the Almighty Father and people, including men, came to her for her counsel, Judges 4, 5, ... 4 Now Deborah, a prophet, the wife of Lappidoth, was leading Israel at that time. 5 She held court under the Palm of Deborah between Ramah and Bethel in the hill country of Ephraim, and the Israelites went up to her to have their disputes decided. ...

Deborah sent for Barak son of Abinoam from Kedesh in Naphtali to give him God's massage to attack an enemy with then thousand man form Naphtali and Zebulun, and that God would give him the victory. What was Barak's reply?  8 ... “If you go with me, I will go; but if you don't go with me, I won't go.”

When the Almighty Father sent his people forth out of Egypt back to Canaan, who did he sent them with? He sent them with Moses, but also with Aaron and Miriam, Micah 6:4, 4 I brought you up out of Egypt and redeemed you from the land of slavery. I sent Moses to lead you, also Aaron and Miriam.

That is two brothers and their sister. She, a prophetess appointed by the Almighty Father, was the one who watched over Moses when he was a baby put in a basket in the river to save his life, Exodus 1,2. And she is the one who went forth with the women, Exodus 15:19-21. Father appointed each one men and women their rightful place.

What women want? What women need? Is to make a choice! Will it be a choice for empowerment by which ever means, the money and chances given by the gods or whoever else. Or, one for the Almighty Fathers path for their life.

When it comes to the gods consider this, occultism is a sin, Exodus 20:1-6 and Numbers 13:1-5, Psalm 115. People should let go of the idols, demons and gods of darkness, but instead they often choose not to, Revelation 9:20-21,
20 The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. 21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts.

... 23 Instead, you have set yourself up against the Lord of heaven. You had the goblets from his temple brought to you, and you and ... drank wine from them. You praised the gods ... But you did not honor the God who holds in his hand your life and all your ways. ... Daniel 5 (NIV)

So, if it's the chances of the gods you want, don't expect The One True God to join in with your efforts.

4 Happy are those who trust the Lord, who do not turn to idols or join those who worship false gods. Psalm 40:4 (GNT)
4 Blessed is the one who trusts in the LORD, who does not look to the proud, to those who turn aside to false gods.[a] Psalm 40:4 (NIV) [a: to lies]

Given the above mentioned examples and certainly all Father has to offer - he gave us the only savior - I prefer his path, his will and way of life for my life.

What's your choice?!

God bless you,
