Celebrating Bar Mitswa on the way to the Western Wall, Jerusalem

25 He stationed the Levites in the temple of the LORD with cymbals, harps and lyres in the way prescribed by David and Gad the king's seer and Nathan the prophet; this was commanded by the LORD through his prophets. 26 So the Levites stood ready with David's instruments, and the priests with their trumpets.
2 Chronicles 29:25-26 (NIV)

14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and a distressing spirit from the LORD troubled him. ...
23 ... David would take a harp and play it with his hand. Then Saul would become refreshed and well, and the distressing spirit would depart from him.
1 Samuel 16:14-23 (NKJV)

These passages, amongst others: 1 Chronicles 16, shows how important music that honers God the Father and is uplifting, is to him. Doesn't this show why God choose David to set up the Tabernacle of David? Twenty four hours of worshiping God with music and songs?
