Forgive, and the Almighty God will act!

There is a trend that has always been there to some people but is becoming more and more popular these days. It's that you can be power full even in little things by making your own rules and that taking revenge would make you feel better. But is this the best way to go?

I say to forgive, bless, seek and leave justice to God Almighty is the way to go. And that whatever problems or disputes between people that has to be solved the official laws given to society should be applied.

What did Joseph choose to do when his brothers ill treated him by selling him to merchants, which led to him to Egypt where he was imprisoned. He forgave his brothers, his family, and the Almighty Father blessed him Genesis 41:50-52. So later he became Pharaohs' right hand, and he saved the lives of his entire family, whom later became the people of Israel, Genesis 50:18-21.
His words,  19 "... "Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? 20 You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. ..."

What was King David's choice when he fled Jerusalem because his own son Absalom together with his most trusted advisor Ahithophel orchestrated a coup against him,? On his way to Trans Jordan – the Israeli territory at the other side of the river Jordan. - he and his man were met by Shimei who was cursing (occultism) him and throwing stones. David's man wanted to deal with him, but what did David choose to do instead? He asked God to turn the curses into blessings for him by praying ... “12 It may be that the LORD will look upon my misery and restore to me his covenant blessing instead of his curse today.” … , 2 Samuel 16:5-12.

David already knew that the Almighty God was able to do this as he has done before, Numbers 22-24.
And in doing this he left justice concerning Shimei to the Almighty Father, who rendered it at his time and by Salomon, 1 Kings 2:36-46. Did he bless him? Yes, his son could not take his throne, 2 Samuel chapters 16 to 19.

An even more astounding example of forgive and the Almighty Father will bless is that of Job. This man lost everything, his own family, his friends, his possessions and his health as well, yet he remained faithful to the Almighty Father. Imagine the damaging gossip that must have been going around about him. Social media?! He did have tree friends who came to visit him regularly. But they did not remain as faithful. What did the Almighty Father tell them to do? They had to bring an offering while Job despite his circumstances had to pray for them, asking forgiveness to God for their sins, whom was very specific at saying that he would only listen to Job's prayers " 8 ... My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer and not deal with you according to your folly. You have not spoken the truth about me, as my servant Job has."...

Weren't these men lucky, blessed to have such a friend that despite everything would pray for them? I believe in order for Job to pray for them, who must have forgive them the things they said to him earlier, otherwise he couldn't possibly be righteous to God so he would listen to him. We should notice that Father didn't get Job first out of his difficulties and then have him pray. Why not? I believe Father also wanted Job to be as merciful to his friends as Father is to him. The Almighty Father is educating us at all times whatever the situation, he wants us to learn also through practice in live. Earth is his school with playground for us. After all this was done, was Job blessed? The Almighty blessed him even more that before. He gave him everything back including children and he even doubled his possessions, Job 42:7-17.

I believe this story also makes clear that to God being successful means being faithful to him. So, success or fame by itself doesn't mean much to him, only when it's brought about by the Almighty Father himself to serve his purposes which always include more than just that one person and just that moment in time.

Joseph, King David and Job choose to walk on the road less travelled, God's road. In doing so, God blessed them and through them he blessed many others to this day.

I truly believe forgiveness is the way to go. The Almighty Father will act! He will bless, do miracles and render justice!

God bless you,
