Wanted: wise leaders!

Christian leaders fit for work retiring and going on a pension making way for ... Whom or what?
Leaders, workers taking sabbaticals to rethink .. What actually? No, it's to make way for the youth. Really?

A new trend in the Christian Community? Alas, yes. And our employer the Almighty God, who chooses to work with people despite them being not perfect, what does he has to say about this?

Moses handing his resignation papers to the Almighty Father, stating the responsibility is to heavy. Or, no, it's time for a new challenge. Moses aged sixty five demanding his retirement from God. Or even earlier, for the heavy work in the hot dessert of the region, today we call the Middle East, counts for double work years.

King David telling his people in Israel that he has worked so hard, that he deserves at least one year off. And him being a king has the right to take this. But, what about the battles with the enemies of the kingdom? Well, the Israelites should find themselves  an interim king for that.

Impossible, right? Shouldn't it be just as impossible for us Christians, especially the leaders?

Isaiah warns for sleeping leaders,
... 10 .. they are all mute dogs, they cannot bark; they lie around and dream, they love to sleep.
11 They are dogs with mighty appetites; they never have enough. They are shepherds who lack understanding; they all turn to their own way, they seek their own gain. ... Isaiah 56:9-12 (NIV)
